Angel Art Sanctuary

Lorraine Coffey is an
Irish Spiritual
artist.
Her journey of discovery and searching has taken her from her homeland
of Ireland to the mystical and ancient lands of Southern France. She
now resides just South of the old City of Carcassonne, above the
ancient village of Alet-les-Bains. It is in this holy land of great
natural beauty that Lorrie and Eugene have begun to recreate the Angel
Art Sanctuary.
Originally the Angel Sanctuary was inspired
and founded in Ireland and for several years it was set in the county
of Wicklow, known as the Garden of Ireland beside the grounds of the
beautiful national park of Avondale. It was here that the Sanctuary
reached a stage where it had to grow and develop for its very many
visitors, but many obstacles seemed to present themselves for this to
take place in Ireland. And, it was once again through a moment of
inspiration that they found themselves being brought to the lands of
the South East of France.
The Sanctuary is
now to be set within the national forest on 120 acres overlooking the
majestic Pyrenees and only a short drive to the renowned village of Rennes-le-Chateau.
As nature is such a part of Lorrie's searching and inspiration, this
magical place offers her and those who come the opportunity to
experience the wonders of nature, its beauty, its magic and stillness.
The Angel Art
Sanctuary can be found
within the grounds of these wonderful surroundings. It is where all the
original Angel paintings are on permanent display. It is a sacred and
inspirational place. a place of stillness, calm and tranquility: a
place where people from all over the world come. They tell of the
uplifting and very spiritual experiences they have; some feel inspired
while others feel comforted during times of great grief and illness.
Through the doors of the Angel Art Sanctuary people of every nation and
creed are welcomed.
